What is CBD?
CBD stands for cannabidiol. It is the second most prevalent of the active ingredients of cannabis (marijuana). While CBD is an essential component of medical marijuana, it is derived directly from the hemp plant, which is a cousin of the marijuana plant. CBD does not cause a “high” by itself. According to the World Health Organization, "In humans, CBD exhibits no effects indicative of any abuse or dependence potential…. To date, there is no evidence of public health related problems associated with the use of pure CBD."

What is Delta 8?
Delta-8 THC (or Delta-8-tetrahydrocannabinol) is a naturally occurring chemical compound called a cannabinoid that’s found in small traces in hemp and cannabis (marijuana) plants. It is an isomer of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (delta-9-THC), the compound commonly known as THC. Delta-8 THC is psychoactive and produces feelings of euphoria, relaxation, and potential pain relief, but they’re a lot milder than Delta-9 THC.
